Blu-ray error (0x91d7000a)

Hi,

I just received the new Xbox One S 2TB console today and am attempting to play a Blu-ray disc. It won't play and it keeps giving me this error message. I have done a hard reset, uninstalled and reinstalled the application, unplugged and replugged the power
and HDMI cables, and ejected and reinserted multiple different Blu-ray discs, all to no avail. I am quite dismayed at the fact that my brand new console is incapable of playing Blu-ray discs fresh out of the box. Please advise on how to fix the issue.

probleme with HDCP (err 0x91D7000A)

Hello,

My XBox One X can't read any Blu Ray, I've got a HDCP error (error code 0x91D7000A).

My TV support HDCP 2.2, and it works fine with my PS4 Pro.

I tried to switch HDMI port and cable, uninstall the blu ray application, reboot the XBox... no effect.

any idea ?

i recently bought an xbox1 slim,whenever i put in a blu ray disc i get the following error code:

' 0x91d7000a ."Disc stopped. Make sure your TV's HDMI input supports HDCP rights management. If not, try plugging your Xbox into a different TV input"0x91d7000a '

i tried a reboot as suggested by xbox support and another hdmi input.neither worked

despite the error the blu-ray proceeds to play after the message dissappears,it just annoys me that the message appears everytime .'

Sorry to hear the trouble you're having with the Blu-ray app! Let's have you
clear the persistent storage of the blu-ray app, then give a power cycle a go. After your console powers back on please try playing another Blu-ray.

I'm having the same issue and I tried the above "fix" to no avail. After getting the message, the Blu-ray player loads the 4k Blu Ray in 1080 not 4K. I can play it in 1080 but not 4K

 

After searching around I figured it out... at least for me. Older 4K TV's may only have one HDMI input that supports HDCP 2.2. You will need to make sure your Xbox is plugged into that one.

UPDATE: I have figured it out. I guess my receiver that is "4k pass through" wasn't completely compatible. A direct connection to the TV solved it, in fact all check marks turned green in the 4k settings. Thanks for the help.

 

My issue is about the same, I've received my Xbox one S 2TB as well, and I've downloaded the blu ray app, and when I try to play any disc to watch a movie it says "we had trouble install g this app please, try RE-installing"...then I've reinstalled 12 times...same
error....and I've done everything I've seen in these threads....

 

So after some work troubleshooting, and thanks to Tmerr's response, I have determined the solution to my particular case. It turns out that my 4k TV does not have an HDMI 2.2, but only offers the older HDMI 2.0 version and a regular HDMI (1080p). I plugged
the Xbox's HDMI cable in the older regular HDMI slot and the issue is solved, although the resolution is only 1080p and not 4k. I hope this helps others with their issue.

 

Thanks for this and spot on! I tried everything...hard reboot, reinstall of app, different discs. Turns out I changed the cable for the Xbox into the HDMI no. 1 slot (I have 4 on my tv, a hisense about 2 years old) and now everything works a treat. Both
dvds and Blu-ray Discs. Swearing episode now over!!
