Blu-ray Discs not reading, getting error code 0x91d7000d. Help!

A factory reset will likely not fix the problem(s) with the blu-ray. It seems as though some users have had issues with certain manufactured discs not code A discs. How many different code A blu-rays have you tried to play? Do you get any errors or does
it not recognize the disc?

I looked up the error code and it seems to be related to a disc reading error. Is this only happening to one of your DVDs? Have you tried playing the disc through another device? Does your console read game discs and Blu-ray/dvds?

When I put a Blu-ray disc and I usually get an error code (I'm not at home right now) but the Blu-ray player would only read like 1 out of 50 tries. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times. All movies were bought locally. It got to the point
where it's just a waste of time to try and use it.

We understand it is frustrating since the Xbox One S will not read the Blu-ray discs. Now when you try to watch any Blu-ray discs, does the system display an error or message?

Does the console play Game discs or CDs? Also, please make sure you have the Blu-ray player installed on the console. This is not an app that is pre-installed.

Sounds like the laser in your console's Blu-ray drive has a hardware issue.

To test if your Xbox One X has issues reading discs, try playing a DVD movie disc. If can't read DVD movie discs either then your console has a hardware fault.

Note: It must be a DVD movie disc, not a Blu-ray movie disc.

There are two lasers in the Blu-ray drive, one for reading Blu-ray discs and one for DVD discs. Xbox One games use Blu-ray and the 360 console used a DVD drive.
