blu-ray app wont download/install

i guessing its because of the recent update, but now the bluray app says "installation stopped". i haven't used it on this console so it wasn't installed yet.

Blu-Ray Error Code 0002 "Needs Update"

I have the Blu-ray app downloaded but when I put a Blu-ray disc in it wont play and says the player needs an update to play the disc. How do you update the Blu-ray player?

 

Games Play But Blu Rays Dont

Go to App Store and download free DVD blu player app for free. It's needed to play blu ray. Dunno why it isn't come installed with xbox

Restarting the Console.

Did you tried a poower reset ??

 

thats a no go. tried different ways to restart it and it still wont install.

 

yes but it still doesnt install. it doesnt give any error codes also.

We are sorry this issue has come up but since the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a

Soft Factory Reset (while keeping games and apps) IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

• There is a stable network connection.
• The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup lets do manual setup. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!
