Blu Ray App Not Working

Whenever in use the Blu Ray(whether I'm playing a DVD or a Blu Ray disc) the app plays the audio of the main menu, but only shows the Blu Ray screen with the loading symbol. This issue has been happening for several week. I've quit and reopened the app.
I've tried deleting the app and redownloading it. Any other suggestions?

Black panther 4K UHD DVD problem

Bought Black Panther 4K dvd, won’t working on blu-Ray app?! Only blu-ray film is ok but not 4K?! Can you explain me why? I’ve resets Xbox x and still same!

Try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it restarts. See if that helps.

Ok, try heading over to Settings>Blu-Ray and click the box Clear Persistent Storage. Then restart the console.

The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
every where else except in the blu ray app.

I keep getting the occasional problem where the blu ray app just froze and wouldn't load the disc, I just re install the blu ray app and it worked fine after that

Hello Captain,

If they do work on your friends console and not on yours. Try uninstalling the blu ray app. Once it uninstalled go and clear persistent storage. Go to settings>disc and blu ray>blu ray>persistent storage clear. Power cycle the console after clearing the
persistent storage. Once you turn it back on then install the blu ray app again and try the 3 discs that don't work.

same here, games and blu-rays work fine. blu-ray app is installed. DVD disc will not play I get an error message. I just bought a brand new DVD and still will not work.

Hi, I just unistalled the Blu-Ray app and did the factory reset keeping my games and apps as you suggested, but didn’t work, instead it loads the disc and then it takes me to the store, asking me to install the blu-ray app again.
