Blu Ray App not Loading

I keep getting the occasional problem where the blu ray app just froze and wouldn't load the disc, I just re install the blu ray app and it worked fine after that

Hi, I just unistalled the Blu-Ray app and did the factory reset keeping my games and apps as you suggested, but didn’t work, instead it loads the disc and then it takes me to the store, asking me to install the blu-ray app again.

I have uninstalled the app - inserted the disc and it recommend that I install the Blu-ray Player. So it does know its a Blu-ray disc it is just unable to load it.

I can't get any Blu Ray discs or DVDs to play. The Blu Ray loading screen will pop up and the little loading circle will start spinning, then I can hear the Blu Ray or DVD playing but it will never show video, just stay on the loading screen. I have tried
this with several different discs and uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times with the same results. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can use external DVD drives on your Xbox. Also what disc are you trying to load. If its a Blu-ray disc, you need to download the Blu-ray app.
