Blu ray app keeps crashing my internet and won't install

I have had my Xbox just over a year and never had a problem with the blu ray app last month it was trying to update and kept crashing the internet in the house so I kept cancelling the update but it came back ever day so I uninstalled it thinking if I do
a fresh install it would work but know it won't install and crashing the internet every time and don't have a DVD player can anyone help please

Backwards compatible

Same problem. Keeps saying Not able to purchase at this time. Please try again later.

Also, when I put in my original disk, Blu-Ray player keeps coming up. Uninstalled Blu-Ray app and asks me to install Blu-Ray app again when inserting Black Ops disk.

Bluray player

please can anyone help!! My son has just bought an xbox one and the blu ray app just won't install. Have tried turning it of and on, turning Internet on and off etc and it just won't install! Any help greatly appreciated, he's really upset

Hey there!

I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Is your console connected to your network wirelessly or are you using a wired connection? If you're using a wireless network, can you try connecting your console directly into your modem via Ethernet cable and try installing
the Blu-Ray app then? If that still crashes your home network, let's try running your console through a

factory reset. Don't worry, you can keep your games and apps when you do this so it isn't quite as drastic as it sounds yet.

If that still doesn't work, do you have any local friends who are on a different ISP than you? If so, would they mind letting you bring your console over to see if that happens on their home network as well?

Give all that a go and keep us posted!

Hi, I just unistalled the Blu-Ray app and did the factory reset keeping my games and apps as you suggested, but didn’t work, instead it loads the disc and then it takes me to the store, asking me to install the blu-ray app again.

I keep getting the occasional problem where the blu ray app just froze and wouldn't load the disc, I just re install the blu ray app and it worked fine after that
