Blu-ray app isn't working properly. No video, but sound and interface is present

The Blu-ray App hasn't been working properly for the past few weeks. To explain the problem, the Blu-ray starts up normally and the sound could be heard. There is no error codes of any kind. However, the video is black and for some reason, the UI/interface
of the Blu-Ray could be seen. (Audio, Scene Selection, Special Features, Etc.) For more information, I'm using the 2TB Xbox One S with a Samsung KU6300 (Supports 4K and HDR) model and am trying to play 4K/UHD Blu-ray with HDR. I'm also using the HDMI cable
that came with the Xbox One S.

When I first bought the Xbox One S at August when it came out, the Blu-Ray App worked and played Mad Max: Fury Road flawlessly. I had watched it in sections throughout one week. However, I have had Deadpool and recently got Batman v. Superman and attempted
to watch it and the problem previously mention was the result. I was thinking that it could've been just those movies and tried to play Mad Max: Fury Road; the same thing happened. There was no video, just sound and the interface of the movie. There were very
few times where the video is present and works from beginning to end. But when I tried to watch it again another day, the video couldn't be seen. The Xbox One S and my TV settings haven't changed from when I first watched Mad Max and now. To add, I tried playing
the normal Blu-ray of the respective movies and the problem still occurred.

I'm not sure what is causing the problem but I don't think the Blu-ray drive is the problem. I installed Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate and played through a chunk of the game. The game didn't have any problem nor there wasn't any
error code while I was installing the games. My Xbox doesn't have any problems with anything else so I don't believe it is hardware related at all. Could you please help me figure out how to solve this problem? I was thinking that it could be the Blu-ray app
that could be messing it up or possibly my television's firmware. Thanks in advance.

Eject blu-ray from dashboard, and the Xbox One will still play the blu-rays interactive menus.

I ejected a blu-ray disc using the console's button after I'd already gone to a different app (settings I think in this case). However, I could still go back to the blu-ray app, and the discs interactive menus continued working (albeit without the background
video.. the disc wasn't in after all). I'm guessing this isn't expected behaviour.

Not a big problem, but I thought I'd mention it, as I'm hoping you're still working on improving these apps (and also the surround sound delay for all audio over optical).

 

Dolby Atmos logo not appearing (and not working) in Netlfix on One S

I have:

- Xbox One S (in alpha preview) with original HDMI cable

- Onkyo TX-NR676 AV Receiver with Dolby Atmos, current firmware, 5.1.2 speakers

- Dolby Atmos app installed on Xbox One S working properly

- Netlfix app installed on Xbox One S working properly (except for Atmos)

- All speakers are working fine

Dolby Atmos is working fine with the Xbox One S blu-ray app. Actually not really completely fine....After you stop playing a blu-ray, there is a complete loss of sound in other apps for awhile (the Xbox dashboard sounds work fine). But whatever,
at least while the blu-ray is playing with an Atmos title, the ceiling speakers work, sound comes out of them and Atmos is displayed on the receiver. It works.

Dobly Atmos will not work whatsoever in Netflix. I have uninstalled Neflix, reinstalled, restarted, hard-restart, reset. Nothing doing. No Dolby Atmos logo will appear for any Netflix title for which it is supposed to appear...just 5.1, that's it...

There are no known issues with Atmos in the alpha preview.

 

Edit: I'm not sure if it is related but who creates/updates the Blu-ray App? I just noticed whenever I insert a 4K UHD Blu-ray movie and open the app, the resolution on my TV becomes 1080p (1920x1080). And when I insert the standard disc of the same movie,
the resolution of my TV stays at 4K (3840x2160). I tried this with Mad Max: Fury Road, Batman vs. Superman, and Deadpool. Is there a way to force the Blu-ray App to stay in 4K (3840x2160) resolution.
