Blu ray app HDCP key revocation error

Twice now I've put a blu-Ray disc into my xboxone & received an hdcp error when playing the disc. This wouldn't be an issue but it seems the xboxone is sending out key revocation for my tv and/or surround system. After the xbox one displays the HDCP error
no other HDMI device requiring a secure channel will play any content. prior to inserting the disc in the XboxOne these systems play the exact same content fine. To repair the issue tends to require performing a factory reset on my tv & surround system &
    reupdating & reconfiguring them.

The problem seems to occur when a blu-Ray is inserted when no user is logged in.

    :)

    probleme with HDCP (err 0x91D7000A)

    Hello,

My XBox One X can't read any Blu Ray, I've got a HDCP error (error code 0x91D7000A).

My TV support HDCP 2.2, and it works fine with my PS4 Pro.

I tried to switch HDMI port and cable, uninstall the blu ray application, reboot the XBox... no effect.

    any idea ?

    Bluray HDCP issue

Hi, posting on here in the hope that someone else has experienced the error code 0x01d7000a...

Excitedly went to watch the Hobbit on Blu-ray and the player starts but then gives me an error message that my monitor is not HDCP compatible. Swap Xbox out on same cables and it works fine on a normal Blu-ray player so I can rule out everything else in
the chain apart from my Xbox One. I have a multitude of other devices connected including a PS3 which plays back Blu-ray perfectly fine.

I notice that the display drops out and re-syncs when the Blu-ray software starts up which may have something to do with the HDCP error.

    Setup as follows:

Xbox > AV Receiver > TV all on HDMI.

So I cannot play Blu-ray at the moment on my Xbox. I have gone through checking and unchecking all related options on the setup menu and they all bring the same result. Error code 0x01d7000a

    Any ideas?

  4. Blu ray app HDCP key revocation error

    Hey there DreamCrash!

Sorry to hear about the HDCP error. Just for clarification, I would like to ask a few questions so we can better understand this issue.

    1. What is the exact error code you are receiving when trying to play a Blu-Ray disc?
    2. How often do you experience the issue?
    3. How exactly is your Xbox One set up with your TV and surround sound?
    4. Does this issue occur with a specific disc or with random discs?

I recommend trying to set up your Xbox One console with just your TV connected to see if you are still experiencing the issue. Please let us know that answers to the questions listed above so that we can help get this issue sorted.

    1) "Disc stopped. Make sure your TV's HDMI input supports HDCP rights management. If not, try plugging your Xbox into a different TV input. (0x91d7000a)"

    2) This I'd the second time it's happened. After the first time it took resetting & installing updates to my tv & surround unit to fix the issue. Once the issue happens it occurs 100% of the time on any device trying to play a HDCP stream to my tv (e.g.
Xbox 360 playing DVD, PS3 doing anything).

    3) The TV is connected to the surround receiver with an HDMI cable via ARC ports. The XboxOne is connected with an HDMI cable to a surround system input. The surround unit supports full HDMI passthrough. There's also a 360S & PS3 connected to HDMI input
ports. The TV & surround unit are both "smart" & connected to the internet & updated to their latest firmware. The TV & surround units are both major name brands.

    4) Random discs trigger it. But once it happens it will occur with any disc.

Prior to inserting the disc which caused this everything worked great in this set up & has been for about a year, including a couple hours before inserting the blu-ray. Initially adding the XboxOne at launch worked fine, even playing blu-rays. Connecting
to the tv directly a disc will play, so it's looking like the trying to play the disc XboxOne erroneously triggered the revocation of the surround system's HDCP keys.

Is your Xbox One HDMI connecting via any other device like an Elgato Game Capture or through a PC etc? Or is your Xbox One connected directly to your TV?

If you are routing through a capture device/PC try removing that and connect direct to the TV. Some films, especially Disney related will not work if the HDCP rights management can't be completed with your TV which these devices will cause.

If it is direct to your TV have you tried another HDMI cable?

Xbox One S fails playing Ultra HD Blu-ray

After troubleshooting some more last night I was able to successfully get blu ray discs and 4k blu ray discs by changing the resolution in settings to 1080p and then back to 4k. I believe this forced the "handshake" which got rid of my HDCP error that I
    was getting. (Error 0x91d7000a)

Just wanted to pass this along. Curious if this resolves the issue for others!

Vizio sound bar xbox one support.

I thought so too but i personally think its an issue with xbox because the blu ray player app refuses to play movies too says the hdmi is not hdcp compatible and to switch hdmis. My sony blu ray player plays movies fine thru the sound bars hdmi input.
Xbox one has too many digital rules implemented or something.
