Blu-ray App Error 0x91d7000a

My brother just bought the new COD Advance Warfare Bundle. I help him get started and everything. We downloaded the bluray player and gets the error code above. Anybody have any ideas how to fix?

Same issue, Tried every HDMI port on the TV with different HDMI cables, reinstalled the blue ray app, power cycled a dozen times, tried multiple dvd and blue ray. Worked through everything again with microsoft support and was told my TV is incompatible and
i need to buy a new one.

TV is 5 years old not ancient. Not impressed

Just had this issue too for the first time with "The Godfather" blu ray.... 11 years xbox live tenure, why oh why did I not wait until the bugs were worked out.

I had this error today. I traced it to the TV. it had locked up the HDCP handshake. I turned the TV off completely at the wall (standby won't fix it) and when I turned it back on the Blu-Ray played correctly.

Thank you, WelshPanther. I tried all the other stuff found on this forum and others and unplugging the TV was the fix for me.

I'm on a replacement console now and just as things are working I start getting this exact issue... I've had DVD's and Bluray's work fine on this console, but now all I get is this HDCP error.

If I swap HDMI ports around enough or fiddle around with the HDMI cables I might get lucky in getting a movie to play, but once the console goes off and I want to put something else on, I'm right back to where I started. HDCP Error.

This is happening to me also. I cannot play blu ray or ny DVD?

This looks like a common issue, why have there been no updates to resolve the issue?

I had the same problem today. All I did was uninstall the blu ray player app and reinstall it an it worked

Hi, i have the same problem but for only few dvds. I have the lord of the rings extended edition box in dvd and all the dvds (the movie itself is 2 dvds and all specials stuff are on 2 other dvds) of the first movie doesnt work and xbox says that error message.
Strangely all the other dvds of other movies are ok, they work fine. It's all working fine in a regular dvd player. I tried to cold reboot xbox and eject many many times, dvd are perfect clean, still doing it. Had to reinstall "old" dvd player to read it.
