Blu-Ray app download issues

On my old Xbox One the Blu-Ray app continually tried to download a non-existent patch. I just got an S and the Blu-Ray app is now trying to endlessly download itself. The app's approx. size is 29 MB and wound up "downloading" 80 MB before I quit it. On the
old Xbox the app managed to go 400 MB before I noticed as well

DVD and Blu ray disc stopped issue

Hi guys.

My Xbox One plays games, both disc ans downloaded one, perfectly

and all the apps work perfectly as well, but whenever

I put a DVD or a Blu Ray disc, I get a "Disc Stopped" message.

Is the problem with my console or the Blu ray app ?

And what is the solution with this problem ?

Thanks for posting, that definitely sounds odd. Have you ever noticed if other apps cause this behavior, or is it specifically the Blu-ray app? Is the app useable when this occurs? Let's start by power cycling your Xbox One and network following these steps:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One until the console fully powers down.
• Remove power from your router and modem and let everything sit for 3 minutes.
• Plug your router and modem back in, give it 15 seconds, then power on your Xbox One console to see if this issue continues.

It's only the Blu-Ray app that doesn't download. Everything else is fine it's the app itself that is broken. Now it doesn't even try to download and slows down my whole internet.

 

I forgot to mention that this all coincides with the April system update
