Blu-ray app cannnt be started on my Preview insider Xbox One X

It worked totally fine but it doesn't now. I don't know from when.

It shows error code of 0x8027025a and it's said Xbox Live error. but other apps working fine.

Does anyone suffer from same issue? What should I do?

I'm in Preview Alpha Skip-Ahead ring. Maybe the latest alpha has something to do with it...

download the insider preview hub app. Once your xbox one is added to the preview program, you can update it. Its in beta but the bitstreamING pass-through works for both blu-ray and 4k blu-ray discs. Dolby Atmos audio playback definitely works on both formats
now. Not sure if DTS:X outputs or not as I haven't tried the one DTS:X movie that I have on the Xbox one.

 

Xbox one X 4k Blu-ray playback issues

well I returned my Xbox one x for a new one and guess what same problem. The issue is called macroblocking.

The issue isn’t the hardware it’s tbe Blu-ray application.

I called Microsoft and they didn’t know what I was talking about. They are blaming my tv even though I didn’t have the problem the entire time I used my Xbox one S watching 4k Blu-ray movies.

My

Xbox one x didn’t have this issue until after the mid November update to the Blu-ray app.

Usually to solve this problem it would be enough to hold down the console power button for 15 secs and try again. Probably there are some corrupt datas in cache that doesn't start the application.

Alternatively you'll have to delete the MAC address of your console (Settings->Network->Advanced settings->Alternate MAC address->Clear)
