Blu-ray app always taking "too long to start"

I have had my Xbox One X for just over a year. From time to time an app would give the message:

    ---

    Please Try Again

For some reason APPNAME took too long to start. (0x8027025a)

    ---

Whatever the app, it would usually launch after trying again... or sometimes after a console restart.

But today the Blu-ray absolutely WILL NOT launch, and is constantly giving the same error. I have tried multiple restarts. I have tried different discs. I have even tried uninstalling the app and re-installing on the internal drive (I had previously put
all apps and games on the external drive).

I use my Xbox to watch all my discs. I need this to work.

    :)

    Hi Capt,

Try what Diego has mentioned, that should help with the issue. Sometimes OS files get corrupt and need to be refreshed.

I suggest that you uninstall the application, reset the console to the factory settings, and hold the applications and games, and then install the application again.

and yes, other apps will launch (although they too have been dodgy about it... sometimes giving the message and then launching on a retry).
