Blu ray 3d playback chopper.

Hi guys. I've had the august update today and have noticed when playing Captain America 2 in 3d the film is a bit choppy. I've tried it on my old ps3 and no problems there. Has anybody else tried 3d films yet and if so is it. Choppy for you. David

XBox One - Blu Ray 3D

I thought Xbox One could play 3D blu-ray....

Popped in a 3d blu-ray for the first time and it says that the disc recognized that the player does not support 3d playback, what gives??

 

Hey there, Zoidberg! First, have to say, LOVE the name! You made me giggle with that.

Second, do your glasses for your TV happen to run off of IR (infrared)? The Kinect seems to interfere with that connection and causes a few issues. You can try going to Settings > Kinect and toggling Kinect On to be unchecked. I've also seen some users
cover their Kinect or simply turn it around and that worked for them, so you can try that as well.

Post back and let me know if these worked for you! If they didn't, please let me know what TV you have so that we can possibly try some other things.

 

Hello. Thank you for the reply. Glad you liked my handle. I think I've fixed the problem. First my 3d tv is passive mode for 3d so there's no IR . I changed the colour depth to 24 instead of 36 and films play fine now.
