blocky terrible color on xbone x - games only

My new X displays colors/graphics in games like its 1996 again for Fallout and Firewatch, haven't tried any others. I pushed the settings to 12-bit maximum, but no change. Settings show my TV as 1080p which is correct. Youtube, netflix, and non-game output
looks clear and perfect.

Any ideas?

Ridiculously low upload speeds and bitrates while renderring and uploading video on Upload Studio

I have been playing with the Upload Studio recently, trying to upload various video clips from the launch games.

However, while the clips are quite speedy to render, they take absolutely AGES to upload. I have a 40mbit down / 2.5mbit up connection, but the XBone only uploads at speeds of 0.3mbit to 0.7mbit. This is hair tearingl, frustrating slow! Sometimes it takes
an hour to upload 5 minutes of footage! This is for both uploading to friends on XBone, and uploading publicly to Skydrive.

I am currently running the XBone over wifi connection on a secured 5ghz connection. Is anyone else having these slow upload speeds? Is it worth me plugging the system into the network via cable to see if there's any improvement?

Also, when videos DO eventually upload, they are at a very low quality and bitrate. For some games like Forza it's acceptable, but for games like Killer Instinct, the quality is so poor that the video becomes blocky and blurred, especially when pulling off
awesome combos (which is exactly what I want to record).

In FIFA, you can't even see the texture on the grass! It's just blocky green!

 

Netflix streaming bitrate and frequent stalling

Streaming Netflix on my XBONE is terrible and seriously making me irritated.

I have a fully wired network, where my XBONE has recently replaced my XB360.

XB360 and all other devices on my network (wired and wireless) == no problem.

XBONE (wired) == terrible user experience.

Considering that I'm old as dirt and don't have a lot of time for games cuz I have kids, my XBONE is primarily for media, and it's failing pretty hard in that category so far.

No DLNA streaming from my home media server + bad streaming = disappointed customer.

 

What is the model of your TV? Does your TV actually support 12-bit color? The "Color depth" option may still be available even if your TV doesn't support it. If you set the color depth to a setting that your TV doesn't support, you're likely going to see
artifacts on your TV screen, or the HDMI input will just disconnect while running a game.

If your TV supports HDR, set the color to 10-bit.

If your TV does NOT support HDR, then set it to 8-bit.
