    My issue isnt about the people iv blocked joining my game. my issue is the people i have blocked added me and sent me a message, iv looked up what blocking on xbox is supposed to do and its came up that they shouldnt be able to do that. I dont know how
    to fix it.

    Hey there, RocketSockz! I'm sorry to see any issues with blocking your friend! In order to not name your (ex)friend here on the forums, please send me a private message with the GT you are attempting to block and the exact date and time you last attempted
    to block them. Once I have that, we can continue from there.

    Soooooo.....

    I blocked former friend of mine, and for some reason it keeps making his GT appear for online (the Gamer online notification) I retried with unblock and reblock, but still no go. Kinda annoying. Any ideas????

    Have you tried to unblock them and block them again it usually fixes the problem

    Hi Angel,

    The blocking feature should prevent those you have blocked from adding you or messaging you. As mentioned previously unblocking and then blocking usually corrects that issue. Let's try that again but using a different method. Unblock the user and the fully

    power cycle     your Xbox. The link I provided will walk you through it.

    Once your Xbox restarts, find the player in your recent players list and block him again.

    If that doesn't help then try that again, but this time try removing and re-adding your profile, and repeat the process.

    Give that a try and let us know!

    Hi Angel M0nster!

    Have you tried to also Mute the person you have blocked? Although you have blocked them, muting them via the message window might be the best option so that you are not notified of the message. Knowing that this does not solve the issue of the person still
    being able to still contact despite you blocking them, this issue will hopefully be fixed soon.

    If you've had a past enforcement action then you would be removed from the program. Your best bet is to post to the linked forum.

    You're not the only one experiencing this. Be sure to use the Report a Bug link on the ambassador community page. Be specific about the issue and include your gamertag.
