Blocking text on my sons xbox live account

I see how I can log into his account and change his settings which block voice/text. How do I make it so he can't change them or can I set them in my "family" setup somehow?

I have my son set up with a MS account on a Win 10 computer. I signed him up to XBox to Play online with him, but get an error message that the privacy settings are blocking online interaction. On the XBox Live Privacy and online safety page, it only shows
options for me.

My son does show up properly under MS Family, and I can change those Settings (like display time, etc.), but I cannot connnect to his XBox Live account. We do not have an XBox, just PCs running Win 10.

I cannot manage any settings concerning XBox-live, wether in my own account, nor in the account of my son.

Very frustrating.

How can I Change the settings of a childrens account in XBo-live?

How can I delete the XBox-account of my son, without deleting the whole MS account?

Then, how can I create a new account for my son?

Child does not appear in XBox Live Privacy settings online

Yes you can. If your son is a minor or a child aging below 18 years old then you will just need to create a new account based on his age. If it's 17 and below, you will need to sign-in the account via:
http://account.live.com as the system will prompt you to link the child account to an adult account or a setup account that has a birth year of 18 and above, this will then become the parent account. This
parent account will be the same email who would be able to change the setting of the child's account of what he can play, buy, do with his profile, etc.

Does anyone have Microsoft Corporate contact for xBox Live service suite? Recently my credit card was charged a auto-renew for a child account. I was not aware that account had a solo xBox Live account as we originally had a Family Account. With that said

Simple OJ

No being blocked does not mean you will be banned. It only means your sons friend will not be able to talk, message or see your sons account on his xbox live account. So you do not need to worry about your son being banned.

Does it mention anything about privacy settings when trying to join a party? If so, is your son's Xbox Live account a child of a parent account? It is possible that the parent account is blocking audio communication for your son's account. You can change
what is allowed in your account's family settings.

Enforcements (account bans and such) can only be actioned by the enforcement team, when a player breaches the Community Standards. Someone blocking your sons alone account cannot get them banned.

I strongly recommend your son block their accounts on Xbox also, this can be done by navigating to the players profile and he will see an option to block on the right hand side menu. If your son recieves bad behaviour or harrassment from this player via
Xbox Live also, you can report that profile again in the same place you block the account. If for any reason malicious report against your son is placed and leads to a ban, as long as the ban is more than 24 hours, he can ask for a Case review where the team
will look at the circumstances more in depth.

Please reassure your son that the person from school cannot get him banned merely by repeatedly blocking him!! That person chatting rubbish!!
