Blocking players is not working

Discus and support Blocking players is not working in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Blocking a player is not taking effect. After I block a player, they can still message me and invite me to games. It shows them as blocked ... but is...     Blocking players is not working


    Blocking a player is not taking effect. After I block a player, they can still message me and invite me to games.

    It shows them as blocked ... but is not working. PLEASE HELP

    Blocking not working

    Discovered this week that some 'groups' (business and personal) that have accounts via Microsoft are registered in such a way that they end up NOT BEING BLOCKED by the system command links. I discovered this by searching for the owner of (location of) the
    IP address. On various accounts I discovered that (in SPITE of what Microsoft said) the IP in question was registered with them and using their equipment to send these messages. Even though they argued that the emails did not 'originate' from their 'systems',
    The emails use their addresses (ie…. 'Hotmail.com' ect…) and the senders simply write their email at another site, and 'forward' it to their 'Hotmail' (or whatever account) and send it on from there. THIS way Microsoft can claim it is 'not their problem'
    and refuse to act on the matter, yet keep the income generated from these groups. TOTALLY UNSCROUPLAS ACTIONS on the part of Microsoft. They have YET to refute these claims or even answer my initial emails about this. You can look up most IP addresses and
    their locations &/or registrations [Mod Removed – Personal Information].

    I’ve tried blocking this person on numerous occasions however within minutes they are unblocked again without me changing anything. Wondering why this is...

    @DemonslayerSara: The overhead fight titles are probably only working in ranked because the other person has to be blocking low while you hit them with the overhead. Against CPU or Player vs. Player (leaving a second controller with no one playing) won't
    working most of the time because they aren't blocking low. I generally just use my fight stick as the second player, hold it down in the "blocking low position" and spam overhead on the other controller.
