    Blocking players in Black Ops 3 not taking effect.


    The subject of my post is just as the title states. I first noticed this issue a few months ago. There was a particular player that was not someone whom I wanted to play with again. I blocked this player in the live scoreboard section of the game during
    the match by selecting that player's profile. Later that same day, I ran into this same player which I know can sometimes still happen (not sure as to why though), when I highlighted their profile from the scoreboard they were not blocked. Since this particular
    instance, I have attempted to block other players in Black Ops 3 often times with the same results. Sometimes I'll have to block them leave their profile and then go back and block them again (I've had to do this as many as 3 times for it to take effect).
    Other times some players show the blocked status after 1 try. I have not experienced this issue with any other game that I have tried to block players in but I don't have extensive proof that it is only happening in this game.

    Mass Effect 3 is coming out this week and has a rather fantastic 4-player co-op mode.

    Borderlands

    Gears of War 3

    Two Worlds II

    Operation Flashpoint: Red River

    GTA IV

    Call of Duty: Black Ops (Combat Training lets you play against AI bots on multiplayer maps)

    Out of that list I'd strongly recommend Borderlands, Gears 3 because it features both Horde and a 4-player co-op campaign, and Mass Effect 3.

    Hey there bud!



    Call of Duty, as of Black Ops 1, has brought in a report system whereby you can report users to the developers of the game who will take further action in investigating the report. On Black Ops 2, go on their name in the lobby, press A and then ' report
    player'.



    If you wish to avoid the user(s) in minimizing your chances of matching up with them again,

    Mute, Block and Avoid     the user - this will also prevent communications. However they are 3 separate functions, so if you wish to just avoid the user(s) then go ahead and do that!

    I have BLOCKED certain players for various reasons yet in the past few days I am seeing these players in some matches I am placed into. Please explain how this is happening.

    Black Ops 4
    This is because you blocked them on Microsoft servers but the game servers are unrelated.

    But you can block them from the game (black ops) to prevent this from happening, I hope I helped.
