    Blocking PC Streaming of One Guide


    I would just like to throw my name into the fray that is the loss of streaming ability due to Microsoft blocking PC streaming of one guide. Now, first and foremost allow me to express I understand the reasoning. If individuals stream TV content violating
    copyrights, then ban that account on a case by case bases. There are countless individuals, like myself, that use this feature to stream other consoles to streaming platforms. I only own a Surface Pro, and was able to stream my switch gameplay using this method.
    Blocking that feature requires me to cease streaming my switch, as I'm unable to afford a PC that is powerful enough to use a capture card to be able to stream switch gameplay. I hope that Microsoft can see a heavy response to this and consider allowing this
    to be utilized again and banning those who were to simply misuse the feature. Instead of punishing all of those who do not and use it for reasons that do not violate any copyrights.

    Hello Isaiah sorry to hear you're having trouble with your streaming.

    I believe that the issue here is that Xbox does not allow first party content to be streamed (ie. TV shows, etc.) As you're using the One Guide to stream with it may be that when you launch the streaming service it's going to show as blocked.

    If you would like to stream your PC content then I would recommend looking into either upgrading your PC or see if you can stream using a 3rd party app such as OBS.

    EA have probably requested xbox block F1 23 from being streamed, those that you can see streaming are probably on pc.

    Have you been to media player settings on your PC and 'allowed' your xbox one?

    Open Windows media player. Click Stream and then click more streaming options from the drop down menu.

    Make sure your xbox one is allowed access.



    Another possibility is you have a PC firewall that is blocking access.

    I used to have problem streaming to devices when I used to use Norton firewall.
