Blocking payment of games on xbox

Hi

My son has been having a ball downloading games that cost money... :-(. How do I make sure that he cannot download games on my payment option with out my say so. I don't seem to be able to make a pass word code for the use of my credit card. Neither can
I remove the credit card.

LEGO Star Wars : LSC - Impossible to download

It's impossible to download the game from Xbox One and from xbox.com

It's blocking after the choice of the payment method.

I'm very disappointed because my children want this game

Payment option declined

I just tried to purchase 1 month of Xbox live gold and I received this message,

The payment option on an existing subscription has been declined and is blocking this purchase. On your Xbox, go to Settings. Or go to account.microsoft.com/services to fix this problem.

The only subscription I have is a free 2 week trial of Xbox game pass,

Any ideas?

Make a child account for your son, so it can give him security stuff when making a purchase that only someone responsible knows it. Or if you want to remove your CC, go to the payment and billing section in your account page, then click "Remove payment option",
then remove the CC. If you don't see it listed there, you'll have to contact the support, but be careful, removing your CC might get to the level where they have to cancel your Gold Membership. I also tried removing a CC, and they told me it has to be cancelled,
but luckily the support agent found a way around it without cancelling any memberships.

Punish him. Simple. No one ever needed a 'block' feature on anything I used when I was a kid. I either got the belt, grounded or both if I didn't listen to my parents rules.

The only option that I found is wait for another promotion like one month for USD 1 in Xbox live Gold o Game pass, so take it and once you have the subscription go to your account, and change the payment options for eliminate the periodical payment. meanwhile
block the payment with your bank

Sorry to hear about this billing issue. I would suggest contacting Xbox Billing Support at 1-800-4-MYXBOX. The support professionals there will be able to access the account and determine what if anything is blocking your account from adding cards. They
should also be able to add a card for you, should the issue persist.
