Blocking/mute not working

I too have experienced this I don't recieve messages just end up in matches against toxic players I've blocked.

I was told by microsoft support multiple times that theres a glitch. Theyre usually on the same account when they message me. I know how to block and ive done everything possible but theyre still able to message me. This wasnt an issue 6 months ago. This
desperately needs to be fixed. Its an on going issue with many other people i know as well. As a female gamer i get harassed often and its quite annoying to continue to get messages regardless of blocking them un blocking and reblocking in case it didnt take.

Sorry for the issue with blocking people. When they message are they on a different account? When you block an account that account in respect is unable to send any messages to you.

Here is the how to topic from enforcement on blocking. Personally my child blocked someone they messaged him on other profiles. You can try removing and re-adding your profile to the account. If you get messages from them, then try blocking them on the
Xbox app on a PC.

Let's try this.

There is a feature to report a problem from your Xbox if you believe the blocking feature is not working. If blocked accounts are still able to send

you messages then you can report the problem by having the
Xbox Insider Hub app installed and then hold down the Xbox button on your

controller to bring up the power menu, report a problem while be visible from there.
