Is there anyway (online or with xbox) where I can set a code to block apps and game purchases so my kids don't wrack up my Visa? I have looked everywhere for somewhere to set this up!

    :)

    Plz help me!

    Hey there Pie!

It sounds like he's being blocked from purchasing content by a parental control to me. I would suggest taking a look at this page (support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-parental-control)
and then take a look at the parental controls placed on your son's account and see if that's blocking him from being able to purchase DLC and such.

    Report swearing

Your son really shouldn't be playing online without parental controls being setup and blocking communication with all players.

You might have to create a separate profile for them to log into when they use your Xbox. I don't have kids myself so I've never tried this, but there might be something under parental controls that can fix that for ya when you're setting up the new profile.
I'm not 100% sure so dont quote me on it

  5. No there is no way to set up a password to do that. You already have a password protecting your account as is. Under the Terms of Usage agreement you must strictly monitor any child under the age of 13 at all times while they are on the console. If you
are living up to your end of the agreement there is no way for a kid to charge things to the card.

This might be really painful and a waste of time but, maybe you could try removing the payment option, and re add it whenever you want to purchase something for them.

This simple feature is the bane of my bank accounts existence. Every time I leave my 5 year old alone with the xbox he ends up purchasing useless junk in Minecraft or avatar shops. Or full priced games that he already has in physical form.

In regards to the often commented "Make them their own account" That also involves money and all of his game saves not getting transferred. Or the other chestnut "Monitor your kids better" obviously do not have kids.
