Blocked account

So xbox have blocked my account and arent allowing me back on as I've forgotten my password. Fair enough. I've provided all the information required, that they've asked for, and they're saying that its outwith their control to unblock the account.

i first complained on Friday and was told it would take 1-3 days to fix. On saturday they said instantly. On monday they said 2 days. Today, conveniently when i asked for a refund, they said I have to make a new account and pay for the membership.

I've now spoken to 10 employees and when I asked just there if I could speak to a supervisor, via email, to make a complaint about Luis (an apparent supervisor) I was simply told no and he ended the chat.

This service has been absolutely appalling and I refuse to pay for another membership.

Any advice?

This should definitely be reported. Yes, you should take steps to protect yourself, like getting a new IP address and setting up a new user account, but report the activity to Microsoft. It will most likely result in a ban for this member, which he can set up a new account with a new name and IP, but maybe you can block him? If you find out how to block him, then you can just keep blocking every time they send you something. If hes just sending you messages just delete, report and ignore.

If all options fail contacting Xbox Support is the way to go, they should start a deeper investigation and when enough information is provided they should be able to help you recover the account.

I'm afraid there are no other options other then the one on the link mentioned earlier.

 

Odd question, but do you mean you have forgotten your password to the account and are not able to get in OR do you mean that Microsoft has suspended the account?

A password issue is a simple matter that requires access to the email account that you used to set up your live ID. Pretty simple matter of going through the motions. I have had to do it twice now, and it took less than 5 minutes. One was the email account
password I forgot, so I dealt with the email provider to reset it. Once it was the XBL log in password, so I went though XBL to reset that password using the email account I provided. Both times were fast 5 minute password resets.

Now, if you mean Microsoft cut you off and said "You can not play on our services"... Banned and suspended accounts have their own area in which you can inquire as to why. that area is here:

Kindly ask for the reasons for the suspension and or ban. If you feel this was in error, you may ask for the issue to be looked into further. My old account was suspended for suspected cheating once, but when I pressed then to look into it, they found that
not only had I not violated any rules, but the person who reported me was actually breaking the rules. When they do a suspension, they take a cursory look at the situation and make a judgement call. At times, those judgement calls are incorrect and therefore
they reverse a decision. So if Microsoft said you can't play anymore, post in the above link and see what you can do about it.
