Discus and support Block gaming, but allow things like Netflix? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hello, I'd like to figure out a way to enforce a schedule for the kids on school nights.     Hello,

    I'd like to figure out a way to enforce a schedule for the kids on school nights. There's an XBox 360 in their room, and I'd like to stop them from being able to play online games after, say, 10pm, but allow Netflix to continue to work. This would stop them
    from staying up all night playing games, but let them put on a movie while they go to sleep.

    Blocking the XBox Live port blocks all access to XBox Live, including Netflix.

    Is there a particular port that gaming uses but Netflix doesn't? Or is there an IP address that is used for gaming and not for Netflix that I could block at the router?

    How to view Custome Profile Pictures again? Xbox.com profile won't let me see my friends list.

    I switched some Privacy Settings yesterday and now I can't see any kind of Custom Profile Pictures at all. I would like to go back to seeing them again.

    I am going to list the order and I chose:

    Online status & history: Friends, Friends, Friends, Block, Block, Friends

    Profile: Friends, Friends, 3rd option doesn't matter, Block, Block

    Friends & Clubs: Allow, Friends, Allow, Block

    Communication & multiplayer: Allow, Everybody, Friends, Friends

    Game Content: Allow, Friends, Friends, Allow, Allow

    Sharing outside of Xbox Live: Friends, Allow

    For some reason, the Xbox.com website won't let me see my friends list either?

    You could always do it the old fashioned way and play a dvd on a dvd player.

    If you use a router and its wireless on that xbox you can set it not to conect to xbox live after a certain time. I do that to my brother kids when its nap time.

    Or instead of ruining your children's circadian rhythms by allowing them to watch TV in bed... not let them and make bed a place for sleep. Not a parent but a caring uncle.

    Child to Adult account change

    Fortunately I never mentioned what games my son plays and to be honest most of the adult games aren't blocked anyway, and he does however not play games like saints row or other games with sexual content etc.

    I've compared what I can do and see with my account to my sons (who is a teenager not a child) and MSFT does block/not allow things he could be watching or playing and dosen't block stuff he shouldn't so there's a lot of irony there that the age restriction
    technically isn't perfect......

    All I'm saying is if I think my son should be able to connect to netflix and watch a star trek movie then thats my choice, I should be able to block and unblock that action as well as game content etc.

    HDR gaming on Xbox one S?

    Hdr with 4k gaming is not allowed on the Xbox one S. Only steaming which means things like Netflix. Yet I was able to have that capability of hdr and 4k gaming for a day.l just like the Xbox one X proclaims. The difference is like night and day.
