Block family code

Hi there,

in order to reset a family passcode you will need to contact Xbox Support,

They will need the some information from the console and will need do something on their end, after which they will guide you through the steps to reset it on your end.

I tried to open it with the old code

but it was not successful

I mean the parental passcode thats on the xbox 360 from my childhood

Another user registering annoyance here. The parental control code now has to be entered before my kids can access Netflix, but once they're in, no content at all is blocked by the xbox family settings. Used to be, the netflix app could be accessed with
no parental code, but the kids would be blocked from any content that didn't met the family content setting we had set on xbox.

This was a great feature of the old set up, and a BIG step backwards.

I shouldn't have to create another account, and waste money on family membership. I want a password that would allow him to play online games like mw3, nut not make purchases. I think that's the thing that is confusing most people about the password thing.
I dont want a complete block of xbox live access or profile block entirely, the family settings block requires I go into family settings and unblock it rather than just do a code. Just something that pops up whenever you try to buy something. Mainly because
then I dont want to be bugged 10 times a day to do the password for him to play.
