Blizzard Ban Hammer Hits Cheaters

Always good news to hear cheaters getting what they deserve.

Supposedly they can detect if the cheater makes a new account and bans the new account as well.

BNet is far superior to most other services. Blizzard is very active with the ban hammer, shaming, and suing. Their service isn't free of cheaters, but no service is perfect, and on pc it's pretty damn good overall.

I don't think i've had a cheater in a game, least not one that was good enough to make me think CHEATER... and i have like 20+ hours by now for sure.

There are a few of us xbots on pc too for some reason... if you decide to check it out post in ct so fuhgs and i can get you in game with us when we play, he also plays with bmitch i think (i think that was his name i played some rounds nice guy). Even if not, that's cool.

 

Just another example of how casual gamers are ruining gaming. What is it the real gamers say? GET GOOD! lol

But seriously, this is good news for every one who thought Overwatch was overpriced. All those cheaters who bought the game on disc should be trading their disc back in for resell. Maybe?


I personally think the reason every game doesn't do this is because they would lose over 50% of their player base. Just my opinion.

 

how are they cheating on a new game, if it is that easy to cheat then the dev's did a poor job of coding the game in the first place.

 

^ I would imagine most of the cheaters are on PC. I would also guess that they are using some kind of 3rd party software for hit detection, etc. (I said it was just a guess) I also imagine
there are always ways to cheat in ANY game. These are just my thoughts. (some consider me kwazy so ignore them if you wish)

 

nah, ill not ignore you lol. just what is the point in cheating, ruins everything.

 

to get good at COD and be a really manly man at 12 years of age.

 

It's great to see Blizzard policing their game rather than leaving the policing to Microsoft XD.
