    Forgive me if this has come up before but after 11 pages in I got both discouraged with all the problems I see folks are having and frustrated at not finding the post I was looking for. So this is actually my second xbox 1. The last one had more issues
    but my current problem was on that machine as well so I am now looking to see if this is normal or a problem.

    I purchased the Forza bundle and this second time around did not load that game as it took to long and to much space. When I started the game the screen was frozen. When I shut it down the logo started to flash or pulse. This is the second day for the
    stupid pulsing light and I only waited this long because other post indicated some type of update.

    Has anyone else had this issue? What is it and how do I resolve this? I am ready to power cycle it to fix it as other have done. I still have warranty on this and would rather not replace and go through all the installs again but will if there is no better
    solution. Really after 10 pages of multiple issues I am feeling like I should have invested in the play station 4 rather than the xbox 1. Blinking white xbox 1 light :(

    Hi Formula! Do you notice any lights on the controller? Usually the white light should stay white and not be blinking.

    Maksym, a rapidly blinking orange light indicates that the headset battery is very low.

    After it is fully charged, does it continue to flash?

    This is the official default headset configuration:

    No light: headset is off

    Solid white light (when headset is in use): headset is on

    Solid white light (when headset is charging): headset battery is fully charged

    Blinking white light (slow): headset is in discovery mode (looking for an established connection); LED stops flashing when successful connection is made

    Blinking white light (fast): headset is in pairing mode (looking for a new connection); LED stops flashing when successful connection is made

    Solid orange light: battery is low

    Solid orange light (fast): Battery charge is critical

    Blinking orange light (slow): Headset battery is charging

    Fast flickering between orange and white: headset is clearing current pairing information

    Boot up time with external HDD takes about double the time than without. Is that normal?

    That`s strange. I am using a Buffalo HD-LX3.0TU3-EU Drivestation 3TB.

    When i am turning on my Xbox via Gamepad the white light on the controller begins to blink and search for a connection. Normally the white light stays on and Xbox is booting up within a minute or so.

    But when my external HDD is attached, the white light keeps on blinking for some time and goes out in the end. After my Xbox has finished with the boot up process, I have to turn on my Gamepad a second time in order to use it.
