    Why would the power button on the Xbox one console blink rapidly while it is on and I am playing a game.

    Xbox One controller issue

    Yesterday, my controller was working fine. Even this morning it was 100%. Suddenly, it shut off. I figured it just needed batteries. After 3 sets of brand new batteries, the controller won't function.

    I press the power button on it, it lights up, blinks once, blinks again but more dim, then the power button goes off completely.

    This just randomly started happening 10 mins ago.

    Idea?

    Only one blinking Red light in the middle of the power button. No rings.

    Xbox Power Button blinks twice.

    Do you have it set to continue downloads after you have shut your Xbox off? It will continue to blink while it downloads from Xbox live if this is set under the "System Settings".
