    Blinking power button while xbox one is on


    Randomly while using my xbox one for either Hulu YouTube or a game I have noticed that the power button blinks frequently then stops. It starts blinking again within 15-30 minutes. As far as I can tell nothing is installing. I can also hear a knocking sound
    while it's blinking occasionally. What does this mean? Is it defective, am I not noticing something update, or is it OK to just continue ignoring this?

    Are there any updates on this occurrence because my xbox just started doing the same thing and nothing has fixed it

    I came to the conclusion it is a synching issue between the controller and X1. It hasn't happened in a few months since I resynced my controllers. But it seemed to happened only with the controllers with out the 3.5mm Jack. My Elite controller and newer
    one with the. 3.5 mm Jack. My older 2 controllers broke. The LB/RB buttons broke.

    That's odd for sure, have you tried a full
    power cycle     of the console to see if that helps make any difference on the console?

    If it is working properly it may just need to be reset. Do a hard reset on the console by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until it powers down completely. Then unplug the power cable from the back of the console for 5 minutes
    then plug it back in and restart the console. Test it to see if it is still displaying the same behavior. Good Luck!

    One thing you should also do is verify that you are running the latest software/patches.
