Bleeding Edge download/install broken after pausing the download

I don't feel like its a server or whatever but a client issue. My friend downloaded and installed the game 1 hour ago without any problems. Now I can't even delete the broken files because Windows says I don't have the rights to do so. Why am I not allowed
to delete files on my very own PC without complicated workarounds? Clicking on uninstall on the client doesn't remove the already downloaded files either. Do I have to reinstall Windows now just to play it or what?

Sorry you are experiencing this. There have also been a lot of installation and download problems in the past 2 weeks with Xbox services. This is due to all of the people at home right now, due to worldly events, and being on Xbox more than usual. It is
overwhelming the services and the servers and many games, platforms and apps are struggling to work properly. If nothing else works, just keep trying, as Xbox has said they are trying to get all of the services working and to deal with the large amount of
people on games right now. Hopefully this issue is resolved soon. But rest assured, you're not the only one having issues with this game, or with downloads and installs. Many, many people around the world are experiencing this right now due to the large amount
of people on the Xbox services. Xbox has acknowledged this issue and are working on it.

try starting the download/install then pause it, wait a few minutes then resume the download.

I had to do this a few times to install NMS as the download speed kept dropping or stopping but pausing and resuming got it to download in the end

I was in shock. How does one studio announce all these new things that I cant get enough of? I am so jacked for Bleeding Edge and have it downloaded and ready to go for launch!

Hi, thank you for trying to expand upon the situation, however your analysis of the issue doesn't line up with my experience. On an Xbox 360 with relatively little installed on it, neither Edge or Internet Explorer, I choose "Purchase History" from said
location. When I do initially, Internet Exporer (not Edge) immediately starts to download, assumably so that I may view purchase history from a browser webpage. Upon the completion of download, however, all I am greeted with is an error page. After restarting
the console this same errpr page still appears. If Microsoft Edge is the browser on Xbox 360 that this link can open on, the function to download Internet Explorer first andopen on it is broken.
