Bleeding Edge Beta Weekend

The Bleeding Edge Beta is live this weekend. Who has been playing it?

What are your thoughts?

Any characters you are particularly enjoying playing and why?

How are you liking the different game modes?

Has it made you interested in seeing the finished product?

First thoughts, it has potential. Feels a bit like it can easily gravitate to disorganization, there is no natural point at which your team regroups, if a team gets staggered or separated, they seem to stay that way unless they think to stop and regroup.

I enjoyed trying out Miko and Makutu. Mika feels like a self sufficient healer who can still do damage and win duels. Mukutu is a bit clunky, but was fun to play and his voice reminded me of Taika Waititi.

Overall I am not a fan of some of the character design from a visual and thematic point of view. Whereas in Overwatch I like all the characters, in this, I kinda hate some of them and sort of feel like I would never want to play them. Even the some of the
ones I like are kinda caricature like, stereotypical even.

I'm willing to give it more time, and may even enjoy it when it comes out proper.
