Blast Shield

Thats where the thermo nade comes in handy. It weakens body armor. So if it doesnt kill them it will only take one bullet in hc,

 

Old guy is correct, in S&R on certain maps such as Warhawk people tend to throw Thermobaric grenades first and then resort to using the Kastet, or Semtex. There have been numerous times on various maps where I have sponged damage from a Thermo first only
to then be killed by a player not using DC with any form of explosive.

 

As a hardcore mode player, I can say with utmost certainty that you are scum if you use thermo grenades in HC mode.

 

I wouldn't say people are 'Scum' but I do dislike the Thermo grenades. They're far too overpowered.

 

To counter blast shield, i've now 2 Thermos & a semtex on my run & gun class.

& its 9th prestige now

Ive been using mostly perks in Ghosts. I dont think Ive ever thrown one nade or equiptment nade yet (in 4 days played). What are these Thermo thingys? I used to love spamming tact nades, especially with Recon. At one time I was like in the top 5 in the world
in spamming flashbangs on MW3 (with like 18,000 or something).

 

thermo grenades are tac nades a fuel air explosive type of weapon

they are supposed to weaken enemies

i also haven't used them

as for frags i have thrown over a 1000 of them but only 15 or so kills off them

i have used the i e d for a lot of successful booby traps

but generally i prefer perks

but i guess it depends on which game mode you play as for your load out

 

Thermos kill on HC, they weaken armour but if they arent wearing armour (Blast shield), then they are dead.

Off topic, but I can now say I have played with somebody from the Forums! I play HC S&R and was in a game with you Synklare and your clan mates the other day. Good banter and some good games. I am in the UK so hopefully we can play again.
