Blast Shield

I don't think Blast Shield works at all. I always get killed by explosives & the Pro Upgrade does next-to-nothing against flashes & stuns. I took it off all my classes (save one, for the challenges).

Your original post should have just meantioned that your secondary launcher doesnt work well against blast shield users in hc. I tried everything you meantioned. Primary nades kill bs users just fine, Thermonades kill bs users in hc pretty well ......
the only thing that doesnt is the launchers...... and maybe there is a reason for that ...... like the devs dont think you need 6 or more lethal explosives in hc without a suitable counter. Dont be so darn greedy.



Being that you hem-hawed around about getting to the real point ..... the launchers ..... and gave us some crap about all the rest of the nades failing ( which isnt true ) I'd say you know yourself that what you want is a bit dbaggish. I mean really
dude .... each of your 2 thermos will kill everyone in about a 50 foot radius other than the blast shield users, and it will kill them in about a 7 foot radius. Use some bullets for goodness sake. I know ammo is hard to come by irl these days, but its not
in-game and it only takes one bullet to kill most of the time.



Dont get me wrong either .... I'm not complaining that you are willing to use the most op stuff available. I'll do that myself. Amof .... you inspired me to equip a couple thermos along with with the mk32 to root out campers in core. Pretty cool when
a guy is prone in a corner ads at one door with his dog guarding the other and you just spam the crap out of the room with explosives. ..... but there has to be some limit to the effectiveness of things. But you need a little bit of a challenge at least or
the game gets boring fast.

Hahaha what?? I was lying about the nades?? mate seriously stay of the tipex. If I was complaining about the launchers, I would say that I have a problem with the launchers.

I mentioned my prestige & K/D because you were making out that what I was doing was wrong & I was just trying to prove that I know what I was doing.

From now on fella, if some1 comes onto this forum & he/she has a problem with something, try getting off your high horse before coming back with some condesending bollocks about 'them doing it wrong', muppet!

 

@Buick350X I run & gun, I capture the dom points on most of the maps when I can.

I also play on my own & don't avoid any1. Its a game, why would I?

 

This perk is waaaay underpowered. Why can a riot shielder side arm one c4 50 feet at lightening speed and then blow me up when I have blast shield on? Even if the first pack doesn't kill me, the second c4 is already on the way. As a SnR player the perk
is worthless to me.

Aren't you familiar with the number of players with stats like yours that don't know what they're doing?

 

People are just saying that 2.5 KD players (99%) of the time, avoid objectives and camp. Play how you want, whatever, but Ill say I have only two or three friends that can play the objective like a beast and slay and maintain a KD like that. Maybe your really
good, who knows, or who cares? BS is a great perk though.

 

If this topic was just about BS, it could go on for 2-3 pages. However since it "had" to be thrown in "oh yeah, my K/D is high so I know what I'm doing and you don't" then that's where it'll go off topic. Will your stats win you anything in real life? Noooo?

I'm a hardcore player and play mostly HC Dom. I don't know why I'm saying this since I absolutely cannot stand it when people use tubes or thermobaric grenades but danger close is the counter to blast shield. Blast shield does NOT work against thermobaric,
tac mask does not work either. If you want to talk about OP, thermobaric in HC is the absolute worse. I seriously can't believe you're complaining because your noob tube and cheap tactical grenades do not work. I do not have either of those equipped on
any classes yet I can still capture flags perfectly fine, except when I get tubed by someone using danger close or thermobarics.

So funny, I just uploaded a video about how OP danger close and lethal tactical grenades are. I died 12 times in one game from tubes or thermobarics with blast shield on.

Nope, just means you have played for a long time...

 

Again the K/D comes into it. If I was gloating about it then i'd have upped it a bit more, but in all seriousness, it was just to let the guy that told me (your a d,bag & your doing it wrong) that I knew what I was doing.

Anyway, at last ppl are getting on topic.

Quite a few ppl suggesting that 'thermonades' don't do any damage to 'blast shield', are you fellas playing 'core' or 'hardcore'?, I don't play 'core' so I can't comment on that but on 'hardcore' 'blast shield' stop any & every explosive in the game, as
i've said in a previous comment, i've seen a helicopter dropping bombs on a player & not killing them.

I actually haven't tried 'danger close', so i'll give that a go.

Also like to add that I have a 'thumper' on 1 class & 'thermonades' on another, hardly what I would called 'spamming'.

 

I play hardcore 99% of the time, I wear blast shield on every class and get killed by ONE thermobaric. Considering how many campers there are in this game, the people you're throwing thermobarics at, are probably camping with a trophy system.

I'm sad to hear that you're going to use danger close.
