    My XB1 will show a blank screen when I turn it on, I can't turn it off, and my controller won't connect even when I plug it directly into the console. I know it is not an issue with my TV because I plugged my Roku into the TV and it worked fine. I tried
    holding the Power button for 10 seconds but nothing happened. When I tried turning the console off, it didn't work and didn't even make the sound. I recently got an update and that may be the problem.

    If the above link did not resolve your issue try turning the console off and resetting the console power supply by removing the power cable from the console for a few minutes.
