Blank tiles after XB1 experience update

After the new update to Xbox One Experience all my Xbox Live tiles are blank. I contacted support and was told I needed to download and re-install the update. Check. Did that. No change. After trying different settings I have found that the only way to get
Xbox live tiles back was to sigh out. When I sign out all tiles re-appear. I must then sign back in to my account to get Xbox Live tiles back on my account. The question is, WHY?? After shutting down for the day and restarting it's the same thing all over
again. Instant sign in does not work for me. I must sign in manually in order to get Xbox Live. The Xbox One Experience has been a very bad one for me. Anyone have any suggestions? And please, I do not want to reset to factory settings. I don't want to lose
all my games and saves. I know there is a cloud with game backups. But I don't trust the cloud. At least with the 360 you could back up game saves to a USB. Not the case with XB1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try removing your profile and re-downloading it. Also, do a hard reset on the console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until it shuts down completely then after a couple of minutes power it back up and post back with the results.

Alright so if you don't have one already I suggest you get one, but you need to move everything to an external HDD so you are able to restore to factory defaults if this doesn't work. I suggest you go into the settings and change your tile colors. Maybe
the xbox ran into an error trying to load the colors. If that doesnt work theres not much else.

The update didn't *** it up, nor is it the forums. Those blank tiles are not actually blank. They are apps. Netflix, Hulu, Last.FM, etc.

They haven't added in any gamer tile pictures for the apps yet. Those that have been like that for weeks have been in the preview program.
