    Hi. I have xbox one and i tried to plug it to projector but the projector dont support 1080p. So i'd tried to boot my xbox to low resulotion mode by pressing the power and the eject buttons like i do always (It usually works untill
    now) but it didnt work, I didnt ever hear a second beep i only felt a vibretion. What shoud i do?

    oh ok. my polaroid tv doesn't seem to recognise the hdmi input either. maybe contact panasonic.

    its the hdmi cable that im having trouble with which doesnt have a switch. do you mean the switch thats on the older cable what comes with the xbox? thanks

    You want to hit the power and eject buttons on the console itself if your feeling a vibration are you hitting the power button on the controller?

    Again its the power button on the xbox itself.

    Please try the following steps:

    1. Go to settings / blu ray and erase the permanent storage.

    2. Perform a system cache reset. Keep the powerbutton for about 15 seconds. Keep it holding even when the one turns off. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and then restart the console.

    Check if that solves your problem or if it occurs again.

    Afraid it didnt help. It seems to be addressing a screen freeze situation, not a blank screen, which is my problem

    My controller does connect, but it does not make any noise, even when I waited.
