Blank screen when loading games

Lately, when I boot up a game (demo or disc), it won't play. Instead, the black screen that usually appears for a few seconds before the game starts stays there forever. I've been waiting half an hour for the game to start but it won't. Is there any way
to fix this or is this like a common bug that goes away after a while? This happens to every game I tried to play (GTA V, FIFA 13, WWE Legends of Wrestlemania demo, WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2007 demo)

MP Games Wont Load

Hey all,

When I go to play an MP game, the loading screen with what map it is shows......then the screen goes blank until I reset my 360......anybody else had this?

 

Call of Duty: WWII trouble

Call of Duty: WWII is not loading properly. No problem with the login, the screen is normal, graphics are normal. When I launch the game, the screen goes blank, but the music sound is playing.

 

1. Did you try to play game installed to your hard drive?
2. Does your Xbox let you return to main menu (Dashboard) of your console?
3. Are the cables firmly connected?
4. Did you try other TV Inputs or perhaps another TV?

1. Yes, the games are all installed on my hard drive

2. No it does not. It froze when I say "Yes" to go back to the Dahsboard.

3. Yes, the cables are firmly connected.

4. I tried using it on my HDMI 1 port (I've been using on HDMI 2), but still no luck.

I have the same problem now. I turned off my internet router and then restarted the xbox. This time, I could play a game. That makes me think it's a problem with Live and we'll just have to wait for microsoft to fix it.

 

Same I tryed everything I even asked lui calibre for help please fix this microsoft

 

Me too yesterday evening I want too play demo games black sceen,

And than I want too try too play halo4 still nothing. .. and today the same problems..

Microsoft please do something about it...

 

There is a fix for this if you have a detachable HDD. I have had this happen many times with my 3rd gen Elite. Just detach the HDD for 30 seconds and it should work. Not sure what the workaround is for the slim.

 

This is an issue for a lot of people right now but Microsoft is working on a fix for it and hope to have everyone back up and running again soon.

Hey, I figured out a work around if you are using an ethernat cable

1) Unplug the Ethernet cable

2) Boot up the game/app you want to play.

3) Once the game is booted plug back in the Ethernet cable and sign in.

I have the same issue, I banged my xbox and even switched hdmi ports! but i found out microsoft is fixing it now!
