Blank Screen when I play a game.

Exact same problem, happened yesterday. I don't know if it will stay like it forever or what. I don't know what to do, PLEASE HELP someone!

 

My Xbox works fine, but now my friend is having the same problem. I feel like if it was a problem with Live, then I would have the same problem as my friend, but I don't. Someone please help.

 

This issue, as a lot of issues seem to do, does not seem to affect everyone. Some people have been spared the anguish of not being able to use the console. I am definitely hoping that you and your friend will be able to get back online to play together
again soon.

 

This issue needs to be resolved today! I just got Saints Row IV and I really want to play it!

 

Microsoft please hurry up and fix it i want to play GTA 5 today is 2x RP and I'm probably gonna miss it ...

 

IT HAS TO DO WIT MICROSOFT LATEST UPDATE. TO PLAY OFFLINE GO DELETE THE UPDATE AND UR GAME WILL BOOT UP AND WORK FINE. OFFLINE... NOW ONCE MICROSOFT GETS THERE OVERPAID UNDERWORKED A**ES TOGETHER AND RELEASES A NEW UPDATE WE MIGHT GET BACK TO GAMING ONLINE.

this crap has been happening to me for almost 4 days as of this post now, we better get some GD compensation Im not even joking i have to work 40 hours a week and have a very limited time frame to play any of my games. Not being able to play them seriously
makes me want to sell all my xbox stuff and just go get a ps4.

Been having the same issue. Have tried signing out of live and completely disconnecting from the internet but I still have the same issue!!

 

I dont know about u guys but i noticed it as soon as i downloaded the new game of the month so.. I deleted that game and havent had a problem since

 

So I have to delete battle block theater??

 

After countless reboots I found the second way works the best. Make a offline account start the game then once it finally boots(which is the updates fault why games aren't booting up). Sign out and sign in to ur online account....

 

Willie, for all we know, it could be certain Xbox consoles that could be effected. Check Wiki, and you'll find they aren't all the same (I'm sure you know this, but for anyone who doesn't....). Mine is one of the newest Slims. Sadly, for those who're having
troubles (I'm in the same boat..-_-'' ), we'll just have to wait for the fix. Hopefully (cross fingers) it'll only be a week tops.

Added: Don't delete your games guys! It's not likely to even BE the games that are at fault here! I've successfully downloaded the newest free games while this is going on. It's very very likely to be some sort of problem with a new patch or some such.
