    Blank screen kept coming back


    I kept seeing the black screen on my Xbox One S, kept fixing it but the same issue kept coming back after the console up and running for 15 or 20 minutes or so. Is there a permanent fix for this issue? I noticed that this issue has been going on for
    many years but yet, we are still having the same exact issue today.

    started 2 days ago when I turned it on went to blank screen and kept getting something went wrong screen. Power cycled it worked fine. Tonight while in a game it went blank and poped up again.

    How do I fix this?

    Fortnite is my only issue, I seem to get stuck at loading screen quite often and none of my friends do. The error messages seem to be coming back from Xbox and not the game itself. I have restarted multiple times and get a blank screen. Xbox One System is
    only 2yrs old.

    Just would like to add that when the screen cuts out blank, it re appears after a bit but soon goes again, and also it will not turn on properly even if the screen comes back.

    Having this exact same issue on Win 10 21H2

    Uninstalling gaming services allows me to select a drive on this screen, but the install fails.

    Reinstalling gaming services causes this blank screen to come back.

    troubleshoot guide     for black screen to hopefully get you back up and running. Try it out and let us know.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Sorry for the issue with blank screen. We recommend the

    troubleshooter for blank screen    . Can also try hooking the console up to a different TV.
