    Update: The issue appears to be specific to Silent Hill 2.

    My xbox 360 has never had any problems. It has all the latest updates including the backward compatibility one. I have been playing original xbox games for 2-3 years now with absolutely no issue. I played Silent Hill 2 yesterday with absolutely no issue
    either. I did not remove the disc since yesterday nor does it have any damage. Today I went to boot up the 360. Booted up with no issues, selected the game disc, and I'm hit with a blank grey screen. This only happens with original xbox games. 360 games
    work fine. I'm not sure what to do. I've tried deleting the update and installing it again. I tried clearing out files. I tried rebooting, power cycling, checking the AV cables, and all sorts of things. I'm genuinely not sure what changed between yesterday
    and today. Any help would be deeply appreciate.

    Do you have an original Xbox 360 hard drive in your console? Have you attempted to play any other original Xbox games on your Xbox 360 console?

    Are you saying you get a blank screen when you turn the Xbox 360 on? Are you connecting with HDMI, or the larger A/V connector?

    Hello, Nac. I'm sorry that your in a bit of a predicament right now... Have you attempted to factory reset your Xbox One X? This will reset the Xbox to its original vanilla state, but it typical fixes any problems
    with the game. Also when the game crashes does an error code pop up, and screen turns grey then said game crashes back to the main Xbox home screen? If you have attempted factory reset,
    it would have to be an internal issue, something might have got in the vents, the fan as you said isn't effected but it could have gotten pushed deeper into the system.
