Blair witch crashing

Hello i have game pass ultimate . I downloaded blair witch. Tried to launch it and it gets through tge first couple screens but when it says “press any button to continue” and i do it goes back to the main xbox homepage. Basically exits out if game. I
trued to restart, logged in and out, downloaded it three differebt times all the same .

try to uninstall and install again, usually resolve, good luck.

Thank you for the help ! It works under another profile so i guess ill just use that one . So strange it wont work under my main account though !

Well, let's not make it play under another profile, we can work on fixing yours. First step would be to easily

remove your profile from the console and then re-add it back and see if that'll work, since we identified that it's a profile issue. That should solve it. Wouldn't cause any issues with your other save games or data on the console.

When you say restart, was that a full power cycle? You can do a full power cycle by pressing the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Then power it back up and try again. After that, the next thing to try would be to see if it
reacts the same way on another profile? If your console is set to your Home Console, then if you try another Microsoft Account to try and play the game, see if it launches for that account.

My fall backlog is already starting... Control and Blair Witch are fantastic games. Highly recommend checking them out.

Control looked amazing and so far on Blair Witch I have enjoyed it. Blair Witch is one I am trying to finish right now.
