Black xbox1 has power but wont boot. Just blank black screen.

Hi my black xbox 1 500gb has power but wont boot, it turns on and I can hear the hdd reading etc. However the screen is blank I have tried different hdmi cables and ports on the tv but it stays the same. I've also tried a different power supply unit and
followed the instructions for it to boot in low res by pressing the eject and connect controller buttons and holding whilst powering on etc but still the same does anybody know anything else I can try?

At first mine half worked but i could not get by the update stage. Now after countless attempts i just get blank screen that then goes pitch black, almost like its powered off buy its not. Tried power button plus eject button boot up, it says 640 by 480
on screen and then just goes pitch black again! Tried everything

I’m sorry I’m afraid the screen is still black, I had the green boot up screen but it’s still just a black screen.

I have same prob. I played for several hours, was editing my avatar and the screen went black. I could hear the beeps of the selections I made but just blank screen. I turned unit off and when I power on I hear all the sounds and menu selections bust black
screen. My TV displays that it's getting a signal but it's just black. I tried other input and tvs with no change.

Regarding your concern, are you getting a blank black screen or a black screen with "No Signal"?

Black xbox1 has power but wont boot. Just blank black screen.
