black screens on xbox one s startup after recent system update.

twice after recent system update when i turn on my xbox one s it goes into a black screen (no xbox splash screen).

the only fix i could find on the web was unplug the xbox and wait 10 seconds and plug it back in (i have my xbox one s plugged into a surge protector so i just cut the power to it and wait 10 seconds) and that seems to help, but today when i turned on my
xbox i got another black screen.

has anyone else been getting this issue after recent system update??

Since this last update i haven’t been able to make or join parties, also loading time for everything is a lot slower

i don't use parties (sorry).

Try Resetting the power supply of the console. I had a similar experience and a reset of the power supply to my
XB1X solved it for me.

i basically do that except i don't unplug it, i just turn off my surge protector that it's plugged into and wait 10 seconds, after i do that my xbox works fine, everything else that's plugged into the surge protector work just fine.

How many devices are connected to the surge protector?

Don't overload your wall outlet, extension cord, power strip, or other electrical receptacle. Confirm that these are rated to handle the total current drawn by your Xbox (as shown on the power supply), and by any other devices on the same AC circuit.

i have three devices plugged into the surge protector but when i'm playing with my xbox one the only other device i have turned on is my tv.
