Black screen

So today I started playing Black ops 3 on my xbox one and got through 2 games but at the end of the second game it froze on the loading screen that comes up when ever you finish a match. I waited for it to unfreeze for about 5 minutes and realised nothing
was going to happen. So I pressed the Xbox button and way it the game. Tried to replay the game but it kept telling me Xbox can not start the game or it's taking to long to open black ops 3. So restarted my Wi-Fi and did all the rest and everything came back
good. Tried to start the game and same thing happens. So I turned off my xbox one manually by holding it for 5 seconds and turning it back on and now it has a black screen and does nothing. Came here to the forums and have been doing countless things for over
a hour. I have tried holding the Xbox button for 10 seconds and waiting and turning it back on but it does not help. I have held for 10secs and unplugged everything for 5-10minutes but it does not help. Need help guys give me what you got.

Black Screens...

Video proof...or it didn't happen.

People who claim to see black screens can't tell the difference between a real black screen and a lag black screen.

Just because you get a black screen, doesn't man that better players get black screens.

Maybe you get a black screen because you can't play as well as you think you can.

I've olny ever seen a black screen once and that was ages ago when the game was newly released.

343/Microsoft will detect black screens and ban them.

Black screens are only seen from your xbox's point of view.

Xbox One Blank Screen

I am getting black screen after update on x360,let set ,unstalled,reinstalled still black screen ????

 

Update left everything unplugged for 3 hours came back and still has a black screen. Tried to hold power button again for reboot and nothing. Will reboot and unplug everything tonight and try one more time in morning and see what happens. If anyone has anything
else I could try please chime in.

 

I have this problem too . It's an issue that I'm still having to face and I am not sure what's wrong or how to fix it permanently but maybe this will help . Go to the Xbox support and find the system update fix and put it on a usb that is formatted to NTFS
with nothing else on it . Go to your unplugged Xbox (and make sure the Ethernet is unplugged) and plug in the power and then plug in the usb . Hold the bind key (the button on the left of the machine that connects to your controller) and the eject button (with
no disc in the Xbox) and then press the power button and keep holding the bind key and the eject button for 10 seconds and wait for the two dings and ten let go and let it do its thing .

My Xbox never makes it to the two tones . Most of the time my Xbox doesn't reconize the usb while in that state . But it's the only thing that gets it to turn back on . I guess it's just luck . if your Xbox freezes again just power off the Xbox and wait
for it to power off completely . Don't unplug it or you'll have to do this again . Anyways I hope this helps

 

is there a way to permanently fix this issue? Ive had to factory reset 3 times in last 2 months from a USB. Im tired of having to reinstall my stuff all the time.

 

I don't thing that, doing the system update fix, factory resets your console . But next time it freezes just turn it off and leave it plugged in and then wait for it to turn off . It takes a couple hours for it to turn off . This has worked for me many times

 

tried to do the factory reset and its not working need help. getting extremely frustrated with this product, its only 2 months old and its broke already wtf?

 

try to shut down all the electric activities from your xbox, unplug your hdmi cable from your tv and the most important thing of all, shut down your tv also (only standby, don't shut it completely off). Then turn on your tv after 5min, put in your hdmi cable
and put in your electric wire for your xbox and start it up.
