XBOX!!! This will be my 5th xbox 1x tired of having to re down load my games!! Should not have to have a external HD!! I want a refund! Switching to PS4

Black Screens...

Video proof...or it didn't happen.

People who claim to see black screens can't tell the difference between a real black screen and a lag black screen.

Just because you get a black screen, doesn't man that better players get black screens.

Maybe you get a black screen because you can't play as well as you think you can.

I've olny ever seen a black screen once and that was ages ago when the game was newly released.

343/Microsoft will detect black screens and ban them.

Black screens are only seen from your xbox's point of view.

Xbox One Blank Screen

I am getting black screen after update on x360,let set ,unstalled,reinstalled still black screen ????

 

Can you explain what you mean by black screen because that’s not enough information to help resolve the issue, so you could have a better experience with your Xbox?

 

So you’re saying that you are having exactly same problem what you had on four previous consoles? If you had exchanged 4 consoles already as you mentioned its 5th, then i guess it is nothing to woth Xbox and something else is wrong.

 

It is definately the xbox1x i have a PS4 and my old Xbox 1S hooked up to the same TV. The Xbox1x is the only console that does this. Microsoft never questions me in whatvis happening. I tell them it is a blck screen and they say OK we will send you another
console.

 

I turn on the console and i can hear it start up. I can use the controller to launch a game and can hear it running but can not see anything. Screen is black and says no HDMI input. This is a new console, new HDMI cable in a different port on my TV. My
PS4 and my Xbox 1S all work fine.

 

This does not sound like an issue with the Console itself considering this is an ongoing issue on your 5th console. This may be an issue relating to your hardware. Maybe an HMDI cable is damaged or your TV has an issue with its hardware.

Fairly certain you've already tried this, but try switching to a different HDMI port. Maybe one of the ports that you have the PS4 or the Xbox One S connected to.

Thanks but I did try a new cable and port and also tried it in another room on another TV with different cable as well. I can hear it and know the dash board well enough that I can actually launch a game and hear it play. Just cant see it : (

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem.

If you have gone through all the troubleshooting for black screen on our site, unfortunately, you might have to get your console serviced by Microsoft.

You can get that console serviced by going to
Device Support and setting it up online.

I'm just curious, but what brand of TV are you using?

 

Sorry to hear that, but if you provide more details regarding this issue, someone might be able to help you resolve it, things such as the brand of tv you are using, if you have tried changing inputs, etc.

 

Ain’t no way 5 consoles all have a faulty HDMI port. You might have a dodgy TV and settings are messed up.What type of tv do you have? It’s probably a simple fix.
