black screen with no network connection

Hi,

Is there any log file in xbox one console that can show the cause of black screen with no network connection?

Observation:

1. Console was power ON since the logo is still on light.

2. TV screen is on black screen.

3. Try to ping the console ip address, it is unreachable.

Recovery:

1. Hard reset the console.

I wanted to fix this problem in my console so that I can no longer encounter this issue in the future.

Black and gray screen no other images loading.

When I turned on the Xbox One after loading I see a black and gray screen with the normal header with gamer tag and avatar in upper left. Top half is black bottom is gray. This does NOT seem to be the "Black screen of death". The menu will come up but no
apps will run or even show in the main part of the screen. It allows me to login but under connections it says I am not logged into my live account. However it will not show in main part of screen I have checked the network connection and it works wired and wireless.
I have done a hard reset a couple times, even reset my modem. I have tested a different HDMI cable but no change.

When I try to go to setting it just shows the same black and gray split sceen. Everything was working fine yesterday, now I dunno. Out of ideas...

 

XBOX live issue

When I select test connection it brings me to the screen with the wired network and wireless network. When I select wired network it just pops up a more info screen. It wont let me test the connection.

Sorry to hear about the issue. Other than continuing to power cycle each time this occurs, I recommend trying a

Factory Restore on your Xbox One. Be sure to select 'Reset and keep my games & apps' to avoid having to reinstall your games.
