Having the same issue for the last two months, i can confirm that after the March update (which was only couple of days ago), i have not had a black screen after using the xbox button. Now i don't really know if i should consider this as fixed or ....

I just tried their work around 10 FRACKING TIMES!!!!!!! doesn't work! I still get the same problems.It's playing the BLU Ray movie. When I hit the home button It's playing the damn thing but when I go to make It fullscreen It goes black every time! I don't

I just want to report that the March update fixed this issue for me, at least I haven't experienced it since then.

i got that problem i asked xbox support and they dont have much to help. i think its like a bf4 bug tho cause thats the only game it happens with

Happened to me in the middle of an online FIFA game. Tried to press pause... After a hard reset I noticed my TV was off and sound was on. Could the xbox be shutting the TV off??? I know that sound stupid but...

if you have any black screen issues try one of these fixes - just eject you disc first

Sup fellow gamers and... Microsoft!... Here to chime in in this action. As y'all can see from the dat of my post, it's late April I've had my XBone for about a month now and have just experienced this for the 1st time! I came to the forums to see what was
up, and am kinda relieved that I'm not the only one and am concerned as to why this happend! I tried powering down via connect and recieved the "black screen of death". I hit the power button 2wice on the face of the console and after 10 seconds it powered
down on its own! If anybody has any answers post up! *talkn to you Microsoft* and the soft and hard resets are a welcome!

I also had this issue yesterday. Disconnecting the power cable fixed the issue for me.

Same issue ever since the February patch. I try to exit a game using the home button and black screen shows up. I'm kind of fed up. Broken controller now this. I figure if they patch caused it, they should be able to fix it with another patch but
I'm really tired of this.

I've run into this issue probably 5-6 times since the update and just decided to google it after it happened again today. I'd already figured out on my own that a hard power off/power on fixed the problem. It's frustrating, yes, but it's also a relief to
find out that 1) it's not just MY console and 2) Microsoft is aware of the issue. I'm sure it will be addressed soon.
