Black screen when in the game

    Black screen when in the game


    I started playing Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag yesterday. when I tried to go to the second sequence for the first mission, my screen went all black. My health still showed, money, etc. I tried to exit to menu and go back to my save. still same thing. I'm
    not sure If I have to create another saved game.

    Cool, well hopefully this update does something for me.

    The data they collected however, doesn't apply to me. I wasn't in beta and never got the game to load in the first place.

    Okay, can you please check your physical connections to your Xbox? Maybe it has something to do with your connection to the TV. Also, some members are having difficulties with the Catwoman DLC. If you want, you can delete Batman off your hard drive, including
    the DLC, reinstall to Hard Drive, and THEN install DLC. This has helped people with a similar problem. I'm guessing the same applies to RAGE. Uninstall game and dlc, reinstall to hard drive, and then attempt to download the DLC. Hope it helps.

    Video proof...or it didn't happen.

    People who claim to see black screens can't tell the difference between a real black screen and a lag black screen.

    Just because you get a black screen, doesn't man that better players get black screens.

    Maybe you get a black screen because you can't play as well as you think you can.

    I've olny ever seen a black screen once and that was ages ago when the game was newly released.

    343/Microsoft will detect black screens and ban them.

    Black screens are only seen from your xbox's point of view.

    it's something that just happens, the only ever time i see a black screen is when a server is changing rotations then there is a black screen that will be on for sometime and if you just wait the game comes back.

    I've been having same problem with Deus Ex: HR

    I was playing it earlier this week, it has 0 scratched and every other one of my games works

    the next day, boom, black screen.

    I'll try the waiting for the picture for the game to show like OP said, because cleaning it didnt work.
