    I've recently started having an issue with my Xbox series s. Whenever I swap my game or app or go to the home screen I get a black screen for anywhere from 10-30 seconds. It still plays sound and I can even use my controller as normal, I just can't see anything.

    I've tried a lot of fixes to help it, including power cycling my console, switching the hdmi port, lower the resolution, turning off auto hdr and Dolby vision. Sometimes when it happens I get either hdr10 or Dolby that pops up on the top right hand part of my screen. My console is connected to a 4k HD smart television so I don't think that's the issue. It also has no other issues other than this, no graphics tearing or lag.

    Hello,

    I've taken these steps and the issue has not resolved. I believe the issue is within the Xbox App, not the console. I can stream from the console to YouTube or Twitch without any issues but encounter freezing and black screens when exiting or entering full screen in the Xbox App when streaming to my PC from the console through the Xbox App.

    I'm having the same problem with my XBOX not loading games, apps or DVDs. Once the game/DVD is in the XBOX I get a black screen. When I try to exit and hit yes to leave, the XBOX completely freezes on me. When I remove the Hard Drive from the top of the

    Hi Jasmine, changed to eco and games would play but no dvd's, done a soft factory reset, uninstalled and re-installed blu ray app, it played one dvd then back to same problem screen flashes between disc and black screen then press any button and the screen
    goes black and only exit is to eject dvd and it goes back to home page, games work fine
