Black screen upon starting games

So I had the same problem yesterday. Turned it off and waited and eventually everything came back on. No problem. Had plans last night went out came home went to bed. Woke up this morning tried turning on my xbox and bam, red ring. Anyone else have this
happen? Im not going to lie im a little ***. It was working just fine veggie and after whatever the hell happened. What did Microsoft actually do to fix this issue?

By the way thanks Microsoft the issue has been fixed for me! no issues in the last day, and a few of my friends say its working good for them too. Thank the heavens!.

 

@XpR0xCreaTi0nX if you go back and look at my other posts you'll see I'm talking to those that said they were going to ditch Microsoft and Xbox over this. Wanting to know what's going on and what's being done to fix the problem isn't crying. There's a legitimate
amount of complaining and then there's over the top whining. It's the over the top kids I'm talking to. Wanting answers from Microsoft on what's going on is understandable. Demanding an instant fix to a problem, and then threatening to ditch the company because
you don't get instant gratification is being a whine ***. Which I made clear in previous posts. And I'm an adult in my 30's who works hard for and buys his on ***. I would guess your a youngster by the grade school homophobic insult you threw my way. Or an

So does anyone know how to make an actual complaint. I was told by support it was my own fault I had the black screen because I have an "old an faulty" console (what they mean is it's out of warranty)

That would be the most appropriate place for it. I can't speak to how much it is read or replied to, but that seems to be the spot.

 

Yeah I saw that but it's clear it's not going to get any kind of response - it's unbelievable that a company doesn't have a proper complaints process - it's like saying "we don't care what our customers think" a UK based company wouldn't dream of being like
that - and the USA used to lead the way when it came to customer service as little as 10 years ago.

 

Mine only freezes on Halo 3, it goes black and nothing happens. When I press the guide button, I can hear the sound, but nothing happens. I then have to restart the console to play another game. /
